Announcing Rooted In Culture

Art Gallery Line is excited to announce our newest exhibition in collaboration with the Art Cross Foundation. We are honored to present “Rooted in Culture,” a unique and groundbreaking cultural exchange initiative funded by the US Embassy in Georgia.

This project is designed to showcase Georgia’s contemporary art and rich cultural heritage while fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Georgian culture. We believe that this exhibition will not only promote cultural dialogue but will also help to build bridges between nations through the power of art.

“Rooted in Culture” will feature works from some of Georgia’s most celebrated contemporary artists, including : Dima Antadze, Dato Aptsiauri, Alex Berdisheff, Giorgi Gegechkori, Nino Gogolashvili, Ia Gigoshvili, Gela Dumbadze, Mamuka Didebashvili, Otar Vepkhvadze, Giorgi Vepkhvadze, Levan Vardosanidze, Sergo Tbileli, Gogita Toidze, Amiran Kuprava, Mamuka Mikeladze, Tamar Minashvili, Dato Popiashvili, Maya Ramishvili, Gia Revazi, Temo Tailuri, Karaman Kutateladze, Tamar Shashiashvili, Gia Japaridze.

The exhibition will debut on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Art Gallery Line in Tbilisi, Georgia, before traveling to the esteemed halls of the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., on May 23, 2023, in honor of Georgian Independence Day.

The project aims to bring Georgian culture and contemporary art to a global audience, and we are thrilled to be a part of this effort. We believe that this exhibition will provide a unique opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the rich artistic heritage of Georgia and experience the intricate connections between Georgian and American cultures.
