On the 23rd of May, a momentous event unfolded at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., as the Artcross Foundation, in collaboration with Art Gallery Line and the Embassy of Georgia in the United States, proudly hosted the grand opening of the esteemed project “Rooted in Culture.” This cultural exchange initiative aims to showcase the contemporary art and abundant culture of Georgia, strengthening the profound and enduring connections between Georgia and the United States. The exhibition, which made its debut in Tbilisi, Georgia, on May 5, 2023, before gracing Washington, D.C., on May 23, 2023, commemorates Georgian Independence Day and highlights the works of 25 distinguished Georgian artists.
